Conditions

All rentals must be prepaid and confirmed with the presentation of A VALID credit card and ID when collecting the car at AVIS offices.

Rates are per day in South African Rands and are valid until 31 December

The minimum rental age is 21 years.

The renter and addditional driver must have been in the possesion of a valid drivers licence for a minimum of three years.

A rental day is calculated on a 24 hour cycle which starts from the time of check out.

Should the vehicle be returned late, an additional day at the extension rate will be charged and must be settled direct with AVIS rent a car.

The additional charges are exclusive of VAT and must be settled direct with AVIS rent a Car.

Should the renter wish to extend his/her rental in excess of the vouchers value, he/she will be responsible for settling the amount directly with AVIS rent a Car.

AVIS will retain one (1) day cancellation fee if the vehicle is returned earlier than stipulated on the reservation.

Reservations cancelled within 48 hours before collection of the vehicle, are subject to a cancellation fee.

The rates include

Tourism levy
Maximum Collision Damage Waiver (CDW)
Maximum Theft Loss Waiver (TLW)
PAI - Personal Accident Insurance

The rates exclude

Contract fee

Claim administration fee in the event of damage and/or theft

Collecton and Delivery Fees
One way fee within South Africa
Sandblasting
Traffic fine handling fee
Valet charged when applicable
Water and under-carriage damage to vehicles
